This guitar is actually great for metal rhythm! I don’t use it for lead though! However this isn’t really a beginner guitar it’s great!

@TheRealSonicYouth As far as I know, Epiphone does not have a Goldtop with Humbuckers. Guitar Festish has a Goldtop copy with humbuckers though and a lot of players have had good things to say about them. I’ve never tried one though.

@TheRealSonicYouth It’s not worth it, the routes are larger because of the different size pickups. P-90s are larger than standard humbuckers. You can find humbuckers that are housed in P-90 cases though. I placed some in a Telecaster that had P-90s.

If you´re considering to buy this one read this: I had a strat, a tele, a jag and a les paul Std. So I wanted an axe with P90´s. Initially I bought a tele custom with P90´s instead of HH. That one never arrived. In between I bought the LP Std and I fel in love with the LP. So I bought this one (Epi, not gibson) and well, I have to say, THAT IT´S A MONSTER. Beautiful, classy, unusual axe, monstrous sustain, and the P90´s sound is amazing. The br PU makes vibrate the wood of my closet
